Description

You will take ownership of activating, qualifying, optimizing, and ensuring consistency of operations for an ultrapure process water plant supporting printed circuit board, silicon packaging, and solar cell manufacturing lines. Your work forms the backbone for millions of next-generation devices used worldwide, enabling high-speed connectivity.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, math, or science discipline
• 5+ years experience in manufacturing environment or with fluids/mechanical/electromechanical design and analysis
• Able to work all shifts and weekends as needed
• Able to lift up to 25 lbs unassisted, stand, climb, walk, and work with objects overhead
• Must be a U.S. citizen, permanent resident, refugee, or asylee (ITAR requirements)

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate extreme ownership in construction, activation, and operation of new ultrapure process water treatment facility
• Design, implement, and productionize mechanical and fluid systems meeting SpaceX and regulatory requirements
• Interpret lab analysis, data streams, and operator feedback to maintain safe and effective plant operations
• Develop, implement, maintain, and improve operational procedures, methods, and process equipment
• Identify and champion continuous improvement projects; develop project plans, budgets, and cost/benefit analysis
