💼 About This Role

You'll lead power electronics development for next-gen electrolyzer platforms, guiding architecture and hardware from concept through production. You'll design high-efficiency power conversion systems that enable scalable hydrogen production. This role combines deep technical expertise with team leadership in a mission-driven clean energy startup.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Own end-to-end electrical architecture from grid tie-in to sensor networks.
• Oversee design of AC/DC rectification, DC/DC converters, VFDs, and SCR controllers.
• Act as technical bridge between Hardware, Controls, and Software teams.
• Lead design for hazardous environments (Class I, Div 1/2 or ATEX).

📋 Requirements

• B.S. in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 12+ years of progressive engineering experience in power electronics or industrial automation.
• 5+ years of direct engineering management experience.
• Proven expertise in 480V (3-phase) AC power distribution and AC/DC rectification.

• M.S. or Ph.D. in Power Electronics, Power Systems, or Control Systems.
• Direct industry experience in hydrogen infrastructure, oil & gas, or large-scale energy storage.
• Experience designing systems for hazardous locations (hydrogen gas environments).
