💼 About This Role

You'll build and lead the pre-sales solutions engineering function at Decagon, a conversational AI platform serving enterprise clients like Avis and Cash App. Your core impact will be driving adoption of AI-native solutions across complex enterprises by scaling a high-performing team and establishing best practices for technical validation.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Hire, mentor, and manage a team of Solutions Engineers
• Partner with Sales to co-develop go-to-market strategies
• Engage directly with enterprise prospects on discovery and solution design
• Foster cross-functional collaboration with Product and Engineering

📋 Requirements

• 7+ years in pre-sales technical roles (Solutions Architect/SE)
• 3+ years managing pre-sales/solutions engineering teams
• Enterprise customer experience with complex buying cycles
• Technical proficiency in AI deployments, API integrations, and production architectures

✨ Nice to Have

• AI/Generative AI pre-sales engineering experience
• Enterprise architecture design and integration patterns
• Software engineering or systems engineering background
