Description

You will implement play-based programs at a partner school, including organizing inclusive recess, teaching games, and leading a youth leadership program for 4th-5th graders to become junior coaches. You'll also maintain communication with staff and families, manage paperwork, and attend training.

Requirements

• Pass background checks (National Sex Offender, state criminal, FBI)
• Obtain TB test and CPR/First Aid certification upon hire
• Reliable transportation to reach assigned school
• Willingness to actively participate in games
• No prior experience necessary; comprehensive training provided

Responsibilities

• Create a fun, inclusive recess by organizing and leading games
• Teach students games promoting physical activity, cooperation, and fair play
• Lead a junior coach leadership program for 4th-5th graders
• Maintain communication with Playworks staff, school staff, teachers, and families
• Attend regular training sessions
