Description

You will lead Pinterest's public policy and government affairs strategy across North America, building relationships with policymakers and advocating for sound policy outcomes on issues like data privacy, AI governance, and online safety. You'll collaborate cross-functionally to drive advocacy campaigns and deploy AI-enabled tools to track legislation and generate engagement strategies.

Requirements

• 12+ years of progressive experience in government affairs or public policy with focus on technology sector
• Comprehensive knowledge of internet platform policy and digital innovation regulatory frameworks
• Excellent communication and public speaking skills
• Exceptional strategic acumen to anticipate policy shifts and develop proactive strategies

Responsibilities

• Lead public policy efforts and advocacy in North America at country, state, and local levels
• Build trusted relationships with policymakers, trade associations, and industry partners
• Navigate technology policy areas including data privacy, AI governance, content moderation, online safety, competition, intellectual property, and digital advertising
• Advise senior management on legislative issues and strategies
• Drive cross-functional alignment with Legal, Communications, Trust Safety, Product, and other teams on integrated advocacy campaigns
