💼 About This Role

You'll join a cross-functional team building tools, APIs, and integrations for Remote's HR platform. Your work directly enables global employment compliance for businesses worldwide. You'll leverage Elixir and Phoenix with Postgres in a fully remote environment.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Lead major team-scoped projects and cross-team initiatives.
• Provide technical feedback on product improvements and code reviews.
• Design and implement agentic workflows end-to-end.
• Mentor and guide other engineers on the team.

📋 Requirements

• Strong engineering fundamentals with production system track record.
• Practical experience designing agentic/automation workflows.
• Proficiency with Postgres or similar databases.
• Experience with CI/CD tools like GitLab, GitHub, or Jenkins.

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with functional programming languages like Elixir or Scala.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes and Docker.
• Knowledge of AWS, Nextjs, or React/Vue/Angular.
