💼 About This Role

You'll lead the world's first operational bio-oil injection site, owning day-of-shift technical decisions and the operator cadence at Charm's Basco LA facility. Your core impact is scaling carbon removal operations from a technically complex single well into a repeatable playbook for future sites. This role combines deep engineering troubleshooting with hands-on crew leadership in a mission-driven climate startup.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Make real-time calls on filtration, viscosity, heating, and injection strategy.
• Lead structured troubleshooting for abnormal events and document root-cause findings.
• Own on-site interface for PLC, HMI, and automation changes from the remote team.
• Publish weekly operator schedule, manage PTO, timecards, and coverage proactively.
• Serve as hiring manager for operator roles and run 30/60/90-day development checkpoints.

📋 Requirements

• BS in Chemical, Mechanical, Petroleum, or related engineering — or equivalent field experience.
• 7+ years operating experience in produced-water injection, SWD, EOR, chemical process, or fluid systems.
• Experience leading structured troubleshooting on abnormal events with written examples.
• Direct supervisory experience leading a crew of 6–12 operators across shifts.
• Ability to relocate to rural Louisiana for 1–2 years and pass background/drug screening.
