💼 About This Role

You'll assist a Speech-Language Pathologist in implementing speech and language programs for students in New Orleans public schools. Your core impact is helping students achieve their communication goals to support academic and personal success. This role offers the opportunity to work directly with individual students and small groups in an inclusive school setting while collaborating with a supportive team of professionals.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Implement academic programs under direction of Speech-Language Pathologist.
• Work with individual students or small groups to reinforce learning.
• Assist with clerical/record keeping and classroom maintenance.
• Alert Speech-Language Pathologist to problems about individual students.

📋 Requirements

• Associate's degree or 48 college credits from an accredited institution.
• Passing score on Praxis Para Professional examination (if no degree/credits).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
