💼 About This Role

You'll join the ADKit Component Enablement & Calibration team to develop software tools enabling driver development and validation for autonomous drive kit components. You'll work hands-on with multi-modal sensor systems and collaborate with automotive Tier-1 suppliers to ensure component quality through lab testing and field trials. This role offers a chance to impact the future of autonomous trucking within the Daimler family.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Develop software tools for ADKit component calibration and validation
• Collaborate with component leads and suppliers on ADAS sensor integration
• Design robust software solutions for component requirement validation
• Create and maintain technical documentation and reports

📋 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer engineering or related field with 4+ years experience (or master's with 0-3+ years)
• Strong software engineering skills in C++ (C++14 or newer) with production-ready code focus
• Familiarity with AUTOSAR concepts applied to ADAS systems
• Proficiency in Linux development with Git, Docker, and build systems

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with safety-critical software following ISO 26262 or similar standards
• Experience with Vector and AUTOSAR tools (PREEVision, DaVinci, CANoe)
• Familiarity with CAN, Automotive Ethernet, GMSL2, A2B protocols
