💼 About This Role
You'll lead internal and external communications that elevate Acadia's policy and advocacy priorities. You'll support state government affairs initiatives and build relationships with key stakeholders. This role thrives at the intersection of healthcare policy and advocacy.
🎯 What You'll Do
- Develop materials for GAP internal communications and external advocacy programs.
- Build relationships with state and local elected officials and community organizations.
- Monitor state legislative and regulatory developments and provide analysis.
- Represent Acadia in state and local trade associations and coalitions.
📋 Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in healthcare administration or public policy.
- 5+ years of experience in healthcare policy.
- Proven ability to communicate effectively in verbal and written formats.
- Experience working across multiple functions to advance team- and enterprise-level goals.
✨ Nice to Have
- Experience in pharmaceutical or biotech industry.
- Knowledge of Parkinson's disease or rare disease policy.
- Experience with state-level advocacy campaigns.
