💼 About This Role

You'll design and deploy large-scale search and information retrieval systems for a legal and professional intelligence platform. Your work will directly impact how professionals access complex information globally. This role blends machine learning research with production engineering.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Design and deploy large-scale IR systems for search relevance and ranking.
• Own end-to-end NLP and IR model development from research to production.
• Develop robust evaluation frameworks with offline and online metrics.
• Collaborate with engineering on MLOps pipelines and model monitoring.

📋 Requirements

• PhD in CS, AI, NLP, or IR, or Master's with equivalent industry experience.
• 5+ years of post-degree experience building production IR and NLP systems.
• Strong publication record in top-tier venues (ACL, EMNLP, NeurIPS, etc.).
• Python and PyTorch/Transformers expertise.

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with Elasticsearch or OpenSearch.
• Cloud ML platforms (AWS SageMaker or AzureML).
• Legal-domain search/NLP experience.
