Description

You will lead CareerVillage.org's business development for Coach, an AI-powered career navigation tool. You'll drive go-to-market strategy, build partnerships, and scale deployments across workforce development and higher education. This role blends hands-on selling with system-building to make growth repeatable and data-driven.

Requirements

  • 6-8 years of hands-on experience in business development, partnerships, or sales, ideally in tech or workforce innovation
  • Previous startup experience, ideally early-stage with company growth above $1M ARR
  • Experience as a founding account executive or zero-to-one sales leader
  • Proven ability to experiment across markets and shape GTM systems in ambiguous environments
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with experience in building scalable processes

Responsibilities

  • Own top deals: lead discovery, demo, negotiation, and contracting for high-value partnerships
  • Build and manage pipeline: oversee outreach, qualification, and forecasting
  • Spearhead sales motion: set weekly cadences, coach on discovery and objection handling
  • Run rapid market experiments: test segments, messaging, and partnership models, then codify playbooks
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, and Impact teams
