💼 About This Role

You'll define the technical vision and multi-year roadmap for the platform that powers our autonomous ground vehicle fleet. Your work enables perception, autonomy, and controls teams to iterate rapidly and deliver production-ready capabilities to customers worldwide. You'll own functional safety and security strategy end-to-end.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Define technical vision and multi-year platform roadmap.
• Own architecture of Ubuntu/Yocto/Linux for real-time workloads.
• Set strategy for ROS 2 IPC middleware across the fleet.
• Lead development of user-space drivers for sensors and vehicle interfaces.

📋 Requirements

• 10+ years experience developing Linux-based embedded or robotics platforms.
• Built a platform from 0→1 at a robotics/AV company.
• Expert-level C++ (≥C++17) and strong Python.
• Deep experience shipping real-time, safety-critical systems.

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with autonomous vehicles, drones, or safety-critical robotic systems.
• Experience with QNX or other RTOS.
• Open-source contributions to Linux kernel, ROS 2, DDS, or Yocto.
