You'll build AI features for Plain's customer support platform, redefining B2B engagement. Your work will drive system scalability and solve complex AI challenges around accuracy and reliability. You'll own problems end to end at a fast-moving startup.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Own and ship AI features from concept to production.
• Design and implement backend services for AI integrations.
• Build robust APIs and abstractions for internal AI usage.
• Drive system scalability through caching, optimization, and processing patterns.

📋 Requirements

• backend engineer who has shipped AI products in the OpenAI & Anthropic era
• hands-on experience with LLM orchestration and LLM API optimization
• familiar with RAG architectures and technologies
• AI observability experience to measure quality conclusively
