Description

You will support rodent and small-mammal assisted reproduction and colony management programs by performing embryo transfers, microsurgical procedures, and post-operative care. This role is critical to advancing research through high-quality reproductive techniques and lab operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Biology, Reproductive Biology, Animal Science, or related field
• At least 2 years hands-on experience with applied small animal reproduction
• Hands-on experience with rodent handling, anesthesia, surgical or microsurgical techniques
• Experience with embryo transfer, reproductive technologies, and rodent colony management
• Ability to follow detailed protocols and maintain precise documentation

Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule, and execute embryo transfer procedures in rodents and small mammals
• Perform hormone injections, oocyte and embryo recovery, and vasectomy
• Conduct tissue collection and sample processing for downstream analysis
• Provide post-surgical monitoring and care following regulatory guidelines
• Maintain accurate records of procedures, sample inventory, and animal IDs
