Description

You will develop high performance and lightweight satellite deployment systems, mechanisms, and satellite bus configurations for customers, supporting proposals, mission concepts, and design from conceptual through production, test, and operation.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in aerospace or mechanical engineering
• 5+ years (Engineer I) or 8+ years (Engineer II) of mechanical engineering experience
• Experience with CAD modeling and drawing
• U.S. citizenship required

Responsibilities

• Support Business Development with proposals and mission concepts
• Develop high performance and lightweight satellite systems, mechanisms, and bus configurations
• Own component designs from conceptual design through production, test, and operation
• Perform hand-calc and FEA to drive design decisions
• Lead key component design, manufacturing, and test reviews
