Description

You will design, maintain, and operate hardware-in-the-loop (HITL) systems for avionics testing, supporting Electron rocket production and launch operations. Your work ensures mission-critical hardware and software verification for Rocket Lab's space missions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in mechatronics, electronics, computer science, or aerospace engineering
• 8+ years of engineering experience in hardware or software development
• Experience designing and implementing electronics test systems
• Ability to write rigorous test procedures and manage configuration
• Experience assembling test racks and using test equipment

Responsibilities

• Design, maintain, and operate HITL test systems for production and launch
• Verify avionics components and performance through rigorous testing
• Operate launch vehicle simulation platform for Day of Launch operations
• Analyze test data, troubleshoot anomalies, and document results
• Mentor junior team members and standardize HITL processes
