Description

You'll design and develop UI features like screensavers, wallpapers, and trivia for Roku's streaming platform, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative experiences. You will work on AI initiatives and create proof-of-concepts to rapidly iterate and ship solutions to millions of users.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field
• At least 5 years of experience in a Software Engineering environment
• Substantial project experience using AI/ML and LLM technologies
• Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, React Native, Python, BrightScript, or related technologies
• Experience working in an embedded environment

Responsibilities

• Design and develop features for new Experiences on the Roku platform
• Create PoCs to elaborate ideas and work in a startup mindset to break fast and deliver quickly
• Collaborate with UI/UX design and backend team to create and implement new experiences
• Adapt PoCs for productionizing the solution
• Investigate, diagnose, and resolve issues to maintain commercially viable solutions
