Description

As an Embedded Security Engineer on the Starlink team, you will design and build security infrastructure for the world's largest satellite constellation. You'll develop security features for routers, dishes, gateways, and satellites, and work on cryptographic services and security-critical systems to protect millions of users worldwide.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or STEM (or 2+ years experience in lieu of degree)
• Experience with Python, C++, or Golang
• Experience designing security solutions for operating systems or distributed systems
• Understanding of network protocols (TCP/IP, UDP)
• Flexibility and clear communication with engineering teams

Responsibilities

• Design and build security infrastructure for Starlink, including cryptographic services
• Develop security features for Starlink systems: router, dish, gateways, and satellites
• Design security into factory processes and provide network services
• Maintain existing production systems and improve security posture
• Build prototypes and identify, design, and test security improvements
