Description

You will prepare payroll journal entries, reconcile balance sheets, and process biweekly Canadian payroll, ensuring accuracy and compliance. Your work ensures every employee is paid correctly while supporting key reporting and audit initiatives.

Requirements

• 3+ years of payroll accounting experience with exposure to payroll operations and GL accounting
• Hands-on experience with NetSuite and/or Blackline or similar ERP/reconciliation platforms
• Solid understanding of US federal and state payroll compliance; Canadian payroll experience is a strong plus
• Meticulous accuracy and ownership of details
• Clear communicator able to respond to cross-functional requests professionally

Responsibilities

• Prepare payroll-related journal entries in NetSuite
• Complete monthly balance sheet reconciliations in Blackline, resolving variances within 30 days
• Process biweekly Canadian payroll for two legal entities, ensuring statutory compliance
• Reconcile monthly benefits billing statements to internal payroll records
• Support year-end reconciliations, compliance reviews, and internal audit initiatives
