You'll join the Mobile Platform team at Zopa, a pioneering UK digital bank, to shape the Android experience in Kotlin. You'll play a key role in migrating our app from React Native to a fully native approach, driving performance, reliability, and delightful user experiences. • Design, build, and evolve the Android platform
• Migrate the app from React Native to native Android
• Improve performance, robustness, and app quality
• Partner with product, design, and backend teams

📋 Requirements

• Production Android applications in Kotlin published to Google Play
• Strong understanding of Android frameworks and platform APIs
• Experience with high-engagement mobile apps and performance focus
• Track record of raising engineering standards through testing and maintainable code

• Mobile security best practices in production apps
• CI/CD pipelines for mobile apps
• Collaboration with iOS (Swift) or React Native engineers
