Description

You will lead Tier 3 yarn engineering and validation for Alo's yarn platforms, driving supplier execution to ensure yarn performance is repeatable, scalable, and meets durability and aesthetic standards. This role involves developing yarn specifications, coordinating testing, and troubleshooting yarn-related issues to support fabric development.

Requirements

• 6+ years in yarn engineering, yarn development, or Tier 3 raw materials roles.
• Expertise in yarn architecture (spun and filament), fiber selection, and knit structures.
• Experience working with Tier 3 suppliers and Tier 2 mills.
• Strong understanding of yarn quality and consistency controls.
• Proficiency in PLM systems and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Lead Tier 3 yarn development and execution for textile programs.
• Develop and maintain yarn specifications for bulk readiness.
• Coordinate yarn validation testing and interpret results.
• Partner with fiber producers and yarn suppliers on technical execution and quality standards.
• Own yarn-related documentation and data integrity.
