Description

You will work on customer-facing BI projects, using Power BI and Databricks to design and deliver data solutions. You will help clients optimize their licensing and build star schema models, reports, and dashboards that drive business decisions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer, engineering, data science or related field or equivalent work experience
• 5+ years working with data and BI solutions on Microsoft tool stack (SSRS, Power BI, PowerPivot) or other BI tools (Business Objects, MicroStrategy, Qlik, SAP)
• Working knowledge of TSQL, data modeling, reporting using Power BI or other Microsoft tools
• Experience creating complete Power BI report solutions with linked content, drilldowns, nested parameters
• Dynamic measure designs using advanced DAX techniques
• Knowledge of data mashups and transformations using Power Query/M language
• Experience using Databricks to develop, implement, and optimize data pipelines and workflows
• Ability to gather requirements and conduct focus groups

Responsibilities

• Conduct customer discovery meetings to determine reporting requirements
• Understand and work with customers on Power BI Licensing
• Create star schema data models for Power BI, including calculated columns and measures
• Create Power BI solutions including importing data, building reports/dashboards, and creating DAX measures
• Guide customers on deploying Power BI solutions to the Power BI service
• Design and implement user interfaces for ease of use
