You will lead the Rubrik Backup Service development team, owning the full lifecycle of the cross-platform backup agent. You'll combine deep systems software expertise with people leadership to deliver reliable, enterprise-grade software for thousands of global environments.

Requirements

• Experienced Engineering Manager with deep systems software expertise
• Proven people leadership and history of delivering enterprise-grade software
• Expertise in cross-platform development (Windows, Linux, Unix)
• Experience with CI/CD pipeline health and build infrastructure
• Strong collaboration skills with product management and adjacent teams

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and grow the team across a multi-platform codebase
• Drive development cadence including sprint planning, standups, backlog grooming, and code reviews
• Manage performance reviews, objectives, career progression, and promotions
• Own architecture and development of the backup agent system service
• Act as primary escalation point for high-priority customer defects, coordinating root cause analysis and patches
