💼 About This Role

You'll own the architecture, scalability, and reliability of our data platform at Fable, building systems that power real-time product features and machine learning workflows. You'll design and build scalable data pipelines and batch/streaming systems for a multi-billion-dollar cybersecurity market. This role offers outsized ownership on a small, high-caliber team.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and infrastructure.
• Develop batch and streaming systems for ingesting and processing large-scale data.
• Own core components of the data platform (warehouse, lake, orchestration).
• Ensure data quality, observability, and reliability across pipelines.

📋 Requirements

• 3–7+ years of experience in data infrastructure or platform engineering.
• Strong experience with real-time and batch data processing (Spark, Kafka).
• Hands-on experience with modern data tooling (dbt, Airflow).
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP) and storage systems.

✨ Nice to Have

• Familiarity with ML infrastructure or feature stores.
• Experience with data versioning, lineage, or reproducibility systems.
• Background in security, compliance, or high-sensitivity data domains.
