Description

You will support the development of Mega Class Satellite coating capabilities by applying coatings to flight hardware and helping to stand up a new paint department. Responsibilities include surface preparation, mixing materials, and ensuring quality for missions from LEO to deep space.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience with space-rated coatings
• Understanding of surface preparation and finishing requirements

Responsibilities

• Apply aerospace-grade coatings using HVLP spray, conventional spray, brush, dip, or specialized processes
• Prepare and treat hardware surfaces by sanding, masking, stripping, abrasion, and precision cleaning
• Mix, verify, and track materials in MES system (ratios, viscosity, expiration, batch traceability)
