Description

You will independently repair, maintain, and rebuild Caterpillar and other equipment in the shop or field, troubleshooting mechanical issues, estimating work orders, and mentoring less experienced technicians.

Requirements

10+ years experience in repair/maintenance of Industrial/Electrical Power Generation/Marine equipment
Valid California Class C Driver's License with clean record
Expertise in all phases of Caterpillar service operation
High school diploma or equivalent
Own hand tools for repair and diagnostics

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot mechanical issues in Caterpillar and other products
Recondition or overhaul major components to manufacturer specs
Perform equipment condition reporting and fluid maintenance
Guide and mentor technicians with less expertise
Conduct customer training on engine/generator equipment
