Description

You will lead and mentor a team of software engineers to design, develop, and scale Klaviyo's event platform, which powers segmentation, flows, and analytics for thousands of customers. You'll own key features, collaborate cross-functionally, and drive technical vision and delivery.

Requirements

• 10+ years software development experience with 3+ years engineering management
• Proven experience coaching and mentoring team members
• Hands-on manager: contributes to design, code, and code reviews
• Experience with distributed storage, data modeling, and relational databases
• Architected and delivered at least one complex data processing system

Responsibilities

• Lead, manage, and mentor a team of 6-10 software engineers
• Own features that thousands of customers and internal teams rely on daily
• Coordinate project delivery, define scope, requirements, and timelines
• Design and improve architectural patterns for performance and scalability
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical solutions
