Description

You will lead electric engine diagnostics analysis, including teardowns and root cause investigations, develop advanced systems procedures and health monitoring systems, and drive engineering excellence through DFMEA, DVP&R, and powertrain optimization. You'll collaborate cross-functionally with design, motor, rotor, and test teams.

Requirements

• Master's or PhD in mechanical/electrical engineering, physics, or related field
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on electric engine experience
• Expertise in electric engine teardowns, diagnostics, and troubleshooting
• Strong multidisciplinary engineering knowledge across mechanical, thermal, fluid, and electrical systems
• Proficiency in root cause analysis methodologies (8D, 5 whys, etc.)

Responsibilities

• Lead electric engine diagnostics analysis and root cause investigations
• Develop teardown protocols, health monitoring systems, and end-of-line test specifications
• Own field failure analysis and implement corrective actions
• Develop and execute DFMEA and DVP&R
• Lead powertrain system optimization studies
