💼 About This Role

You'll own the design of high-performance camera hardware and imaging electronics for surgical robotics. Your work will directly impact real-time visualization systems used in life-saving procedures. You'll architect complex circuit boards and custom cabling from concept to production, and collaborate across mechanical, firmware, and software teams to deliver fully integrated robotic solutions.

🎯 What You'll Do

  • Lead design of high-performance camera hardware and imaging electronics.
  • Architect complex circuit boards and custom cabling from concept to production.
  • Use lab tools (multimeters, oscilloscopes, etc.) to test and verify designs.
  • Serve as technical bridge between mechanical, firmware, and software teams.

📋 Requirements

  • B.S. in Electrical Engineering or equivalent with 8+ years of industry experience.
  • Deep expertise in CMOS sensors, image processing pipelines, and chip-to-chip interfaces (MIPI, LVDS, GMSL, CML).
  • Proficient in circuit design: multi-gigabit SerDes, ADC, DAC, isolators, analog bridge, USB controller, and signal integrity.
  • Highly skilled with PCBA design using Altium Designer, OrCAD or similar.

✨ Nice to Have

  • Experience in medical device, biotech, or other heavily regulated industry.
  • Knowledge of robotic systems, ultrasound, and endoscopy.
  • Familiarity with IEC 60601-1-2 and IEC 60601-1.
