Description

You will take extreme ownership of the engine test program for Stoke Space's 100% reusable rocket engine, owning development and qualification testing from component through integrated hotfires. You'll work onsite at the Moses Lake Test Site, coordinating with test facility and engines teams across all product lifecycle phases.

Requirements

• 2+ years experience in designing, building, and testing rocket engines or components
• Strong command of compressible flow, thermodynamics, cryogenics, instrumentation
• Proficiency with pneumatic, hydraulic, and cryogenic fluid systems
• Proficiency with instrumentation (pressure transducers, thermocouples, etc.)
• Bachelor's degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain engine test requirements and test plans
• Own as-tested configuration from factory to flight
• Plan, prioritize, and execute component and full engine test campaigns
• Drive test data reviews, perform data analysis, own anomaly investigations
• Design, build, and troubleshoot fluid, mechanical, instrumentation, and control systems
