You'll ensure reliability, performance, and scalability of backend systems at a self-funded company with 100M+ downloads. You'll test APIs and databases using Node.js and TypeScript. This fully remote role offers relocation support to Lisbon.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Design and execute tests for backend systems, including APIs and databases.
• Validate API functionality and performance using Postman or Swagger.
• Test and verify database operations and data integrity in PostgreSQL.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to review pull requests and ensure test coverage.

📋 Requirements

• 2–3 years of experience in backend testing or software development in test.
• Proficiency in Node.js and TypeScript in backend environments.
• Experience with SQL databases (especially PostgreSQL) and data validation.
• Experience testing REST APIs using Postman, Swagger, or similar tools.

• Familiarity with test management tools like TestRail.
• Comfort reviewing pull requests and backend architecture changes.
