Description

You will support the Engineering and Maintenance teams with day-to-day project activities, including new equipment installations, vendor coordination, and maintaining organized drawing files. You'll use AutoCAD to update drawings and assist the Sr. Manager on larger scopes, ensuring laboratory equipment installation requirements are met and assets are captured in the CMMS system.

Requirements

• Associate's degree in mechanical, electrical, facilities engineering or similar
• 3-5 years relevant experience in facilities engineering, preferably biotech/pharma
• Strong organizational skills and understanding of electrical and mechanical systems
• Proficiency with AutoCAD and Bluebeam Revu or Adobe Acrobat
• Limited to persons with indefinite right to work in the United States

Responsibilities

• Ensure lab equipment installation requirements for MEP, HVAC, lighting, and controls are met
• Coordinate with vendors and users for equipment installations
• Capture newly installed assets in CMMS (ServiceNow Enterprise Asset Management)
• Organize building drawings, locate missing ones with vendors and landlord
• Use AutoCAD to develop small project drawings and update existing drawings to as-built
