Description

You will architect and maintain Oscar's cloud infrastructure platform using AWS/GCP, Terraform, and Kubernetes, enabling engineering teams to move fast securely. Lead complex projects, mentor engineers, and drive reliability improvements while collaborating cross-functionally.

Requirements

• 6+ years professional software engineering experience
• Experience as major contributor on cross-team deliverables
• Expertise in AWS or GCP production management at scale
• Advanced experience with Terraform and Kubernetes
• Strong background in SRE including SLOs, error budgets, and incident management

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, execution, and release of complex technical projects across multiple teams
• Design and build resilient cloud systems, reducing failure domains and outage impact
• Guide development of Service-Level Objectives (SLOs) for owned systems
• Mentor engineers and improve team technology practices
• Drive prioritization of technical roadmap and cross-team collaboration
