You'll build automated detection and enforcement systems that protect Klaviyo's platform from fraud and abuse. Your work will directly defend customers and recipients across email, SMS, and other channels. This role combines adversarial problem-solving with systems engineering at scale.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Design and build abuse detection and enforcement services.
• Extend anti-abuse rules to new product surfaces.
• Develop content and link abuse detection capabilities.
• Contribute to AUP automation and enforcement pipelines.
• Improve platform anti-abuse infrastructure and observability.

📋 Requirements

• 2-5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong backend development skills in Go or Python.
• Experience building and operating production services.
• Motivation to solve adversarial abuse problems.

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with ML-based classifiers for abuse detection.
• Familiarity with rules engines and enforcement pipelines.
• Knowledge of identity and access management signals.
