💼 About This Role

You'll lead Suno's litigation function across high-profile copyright and IP matters in the U.S. and Europe, managing outside counsel and building case workflows. Your core impact will be defending the legal foundation for a company that lets millions create music with AI. This role offers direct exposure to the executive team and a chance to shape how generative AI and music coexist.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Lead litigation across copyright, IP, privacy, employment, and commercial disputes.
• Manage outside counsel relationships, budgets, and case strategy.
• Build litigation workflows, discovery processes, and knowledge capture.
• Partner with business affairs and product legal teams on strategy.

📋 Requirements

• JD and active bar membership in good standing (U.S. state bar).
• Minimum 7 years of litigation experience at a top firm or in-house.
• Demonstrated experience in the music industry.
• Substantive copyright knowledge including infringement, fair use, and DMCA.

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with U.S. and European litigation.
• Prior in-house experience at an AI/ML or music company.
• Familiarity with class action and mass arbitration.
