Description

As a Senior Mechanical Engineer on the Value Engineering team, you will enhance aftermarket product value by refining designs, streamlining manufacturing, and reducing costs. You'll collaborate with global teams and suppliers to ensure quality, address field issues, and drive continuous improvement projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related field
• Min 3 years hardware and process engineering experience in semiconductor industry
• Proficient in reviewing 3D CAD models and interpreting engineering drawings
• Experience in Failure Analysis (FA) and corrective actions
• Understanding of materials (metals, plastics, coatings) and ANSI Y14.5 standards

Responsibilities

• Ensure quality of aftermarket parts by collaborating with suppliers and implementing corrective actions
• Engage with customers to address field-reported performance issues
• Lead and implement ASM process protocols and field service solutions
• Manage Continuous Improvement Projects (CIPs) and track progress
• Define project scopes, generate reports, and collaborate with global teams
