💼 About This Role

You'll design and analyze electric motor components for sustainable aviation and other applications. You'll own parts end-to-end, from concept through testing, on a fast-paced team. You'll use SolidWorks for 3D modeling and perform FEA and tolerance analysis.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Design parts and assemblies using SolidWorks
• Perform mechanical analyses (FEA, CFD, hand calculations)
• Generate engineering drawings per ASME and GD&T
• Support prototyping and testing of new designs

📋 Requirements

• Pursuing a BS or MS in Mechanical Engineering
• GPA of 3.0 or higher
• Hands-on experience assembling mechanical systems
• SolidWorks proficiency

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with manufacturing processes (machining, AM, composites)
• Experience with 2D drawings and GD&T
• Experience with linear structural FEA
