💼 About This Role

You'll lead pre-training and post-training on action-conditioned world models for Hedra's new Physical AI team. Your work will close the loop between generative AI and physical systems, with direct impact on real-world applications. This role offers the chance to publish research and work with industrial partners.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Design and implement pre-training and post-training pipelines for world models and VLA models.
• Develop training methodologies including fine-tuning, RL, and multimodal learning.
• Build distributed training infrastructure using PyTorch, FSDP, and DeepSpeed.
• Collaborate with industrial partners to adapt generative models for physical AI applications.

📋 Requirements

• Experience with pre-training or post-training on large generative models.
• Hands-on proficiency with PyTorch and distributed training frameworks.
• Strong fundamentals in machine learning, optimization, and large-scale data processing.
• Familiarity with VLMs, VLAs, or world models.

✨ Nice to Have

• Background in robotics, embodied AI, or sim-to-real transfer.
• Experience with video understanding or temporal reasoning.
• Contributions to research publications.
