Description

You will provide visionary leadership to advance WGTE's mission of public service through educational, cultural, and informational content across television, radio, multi-media, and educational platforms. You will lead strategic planning, fundraising, stakeholder engagement, and operational excellence to ensure the organization's sustainability and growth.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university
• Progressive experience in strategic planning, budgeting, and managing multiple priorities
• Demonstrated leadership experience with ability to attract, hire, train, motivate, and retain talent
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage diverse stakeholders and build consensus
• Preferred: Advanced degree in public administration, nonprofit leadership, or media management

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic plans with the Board to advance mission and adapt to changing media environment
• Lead fundraising and development efforts, including membership growth and new revenue streams
• Oversee daily operations across television, radio, multi-media, and educational platforms
• Drive technology and digital innovation to expand reach and impact
• Build relationships with stakeholders including staff, board, donors, community leaders, and government officials
