Description

You will help major partners like Intel, Nvidia, and Google embrace open source platforms by architecting solutions using Ubuntu, Kubernetes, and clouds. You'll design reference architectures, conduct workshops, and enable partners to deploy Canonical's technologies in real-world environments.

Requirements

• Extensive experience with Linux (Ubuntu preferred), Kubernetes, Ceph, and software automation
• Experience designing and implementing solutions on public or private clouds
• Python and bash understanding and troubleshooting skills
• Fluent written and spoken English
• Ability to travel globally up to 30% of the time

Responsibilities

• Architect cloud infrastructure solutions like Kubernetes, OpenStack, Ceph on-premises or in public clouds
• Integrate open source software such as PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Kafka, Cassandra, NGINX
• Design and publish joint Reference Architectures with partners
• Conduct onboarding sessions and workshops with partner teams
• Help partners offer joint solutions using Canonical's technologies in data centers and public clouds
