💼 About This Role

You'll join a new Innovate squad at Yubo, focused on bold product bets and high-risk backend experiments. You'll design, ship, and operate experiments to validate ambitious features, while keeping systems resilient and cost-efficient. This role stands out for its fast iteration cycle and direct impact on product direction.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Design and deliver backend capabilities from specs to production rollout/rollback
• Define and instrument success metrics with cross-functional partners
• Iterate quickly based on experiment results (KPIs, dashboards, quantitative signals)
• Diagnose and fix complex production issues using logs, metrics, and observability tools

📋 Requirements

• 5+ years of backend experience ideally in startup/scale-up environments
• Proficient in Node.js and TypeScript
• Solid experience designing APIs (performance, security, observability)
• Experience working with event-driven systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ, NATS)

• Experience in scalable architecture design
