You'll design and develop the solar array mechanical systems for space-based data centers, owning the full lifecycle from concept to orbital operation. You'll drive low-cost, reliable space hardware at huge scale through iterative design and multidisciplinary collaboration. This role offers the chance to push boundaries in the space economy.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Create and manage detailed CAD models from component to spacecraft level.
• Perform structural, kinematic, and thermal analyses using FEA and hand calculations.
• Design and execute test plans to validate designs under launch and space environments.
• Partner with supply chain and manufacturing to establish efficient production processes.

📋 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Proficiency with advanced CAD software, ideally NX and Teamcenter.
• Experience with FEA software for structural analysis, ideally Ansys.
• Minimum of 2+ years hands-on experience in mechanical design, analysis, testing, or manufacturing.

• 3+ years professional experience in mechanical design of solar products.
