Description

You'll manage overdue accounts by contacting customers via phone and email, negotiating payment plans, resolving billing issues, and maintaining records. This part-time role is primarily remote with occasional in-office visits.

Requirements

• 5 years experience in accounting, collections or billing
• Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
• Basic accounting knowledge
• Knowledge of debt collection laws (e.g., FDCPA)
• Proficiency in billing procedures and financial analysis

Responsibilities

• Contact clients to discuss outstanding balances
• Analyze accounts and decide best follow-up approach
• Develop and implement repayment plans
• Address billing disputes and payment platform issues
• Prepare monthly collection progress reports
