Description

You will support the processing and reporting of financial results for transaction losses, partnering with risk management, data science, and finance teams to advise on US GAAP implications. You'll manage monthly close activities, wrangle complex datasets to produce actionable insights, and drive cross-functional projects to improve efficiency.

Requirements

• 7+ years of public accounting or industry experience
• B.A. or B.S. in Accounting or Finance; CPA strongly preferred
• Fluency in US GAAP
• Strong Excel skills and experience with large datasets from multiple sources
• Experience with cross-functional stakeholder management and internal controls

Responsibilities

• Partner with risk, data science, and finance to advise on accounting implications for credit and fraud risk under US GAAP
• Plan and review monthly close activities including balance sheet reconciliations, reserve rollforwards, and variance analysis
• Perform data analysis and visualization on large datasets to support financial close and margin analysis
• Implement anomaly detection for automated accounting activity
• Drive cross-functional projects with FP&A, Financial Systems, and Product Engineers
