💼 About This Role

You'll modify, debug, and optimize PLC programs on production equipment for the E-Space Manufacturing Solar Team, focusing on Siemens PLC-based systems and a unique roll-to-roll (R2R) machine. Your work directly improves machine reliability, safety, and throughput, supporting both OEM and custom-built systems.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Modify and debug Siemens PLC programs on existing production equipment.
• Support commissioning and acceptance of modified machines.
• Improve machine reliability through control system enhancements.
• Develop PLC logic for a unique roll-to-roll machine.
• Troubleshoot electrical, sensor, and communication issues.

📋 Requirements

• BS or technical degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of experience with PLCs in industrial environment.
• Strong hands-on experience modifying existing PLC code.
• Experience with industrial communication protocols (PROFINET, PROFIBUS).

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with roll-to-roll or web-handling equipment.
• Background in thin-film PV, semiconductor, or vacuum-based manufacturing.
• Experience with Siemens TIA Portal, HMI, and safety PLCs.
