Description

You will teach computer science to middle and upper school students using a student-centered approach, engaging them in programming, computational thinking, and systems fundamentals. You'll also participate in school activities and collaborate with a collegial math department.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required; Master's preferred
• Experience teaching computer science in middle, upper school, or higher ed
• Experience with Java, system fundamentals, computer organization, networks, and OOP
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience working with diverse communities

Responsibilities

• Create a positive, student-centered learning environment
• Prepare and deliver lessons to assigned classes
• Participate in IB training if needed
• Meet school guidelines for grading, recordkeeping, and LMS use
• Engage in school-wide activities and community life
