Description

You will assist in preparing and serving quality food to residents, guests, and employees of a retirement community, ensuring sanitary conditions and excellent customer service. This role focuses on person-centered care in a supportive, team-oriented environment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• 0-2 years food service experience in long-term care preferred
• Good customer service and attendance
• Ability to work with nursing department
• Follow universal precautions and infection control

Responsibilities

• Prepare and set up menu items per standards
• Serve hot and cold food items accurately on tray line
• Restock cafeteria and serve meals courteously
• Clean and sanitize kitchen facilities and equipment
• Assist with dishwashing and pot washing
