Description

You will design, deploy, and manage critical network infrastructure supporting world-class science at the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative. You'll monitor and troubleshoot wired/wireless networks, collaborate with security teams, and ensure high-performance connectivity across multiple research sites.

Requirements

• 8+ years professional networking experience with Juniper switches/routers
• Expertise in next-gen firewalls, security protocols, DNS, DHCP, BGP, OSPF
• Hands-on wireless networking experience (configuration, optimization, AP placement)
• Strong troubleshooting skills for complex network issues
• Proficiency in UNIX system administration, change management, and patch cycles

Responsibilities

• Monitor, manage, and troubleshoot wired/wireless networks across local and remote sites
• Design, deploy, and maintain new network infrastructure at Biohub locations
• Collaborate with Information Security to secure network components and devices
• Provide advanced support and second-level help desk escalation
• Apply security patches, upgrades, and configuration changes per change management policies
