💼 About This Role

You'll own the full accounting function end-to-end at a Series A aviation autonomy startup backed by top-tier VCs. Your core impact is building scalable financial processes from the ground up and producing investor-grade statements. This role stands out as the first in-house finance hire with ownership to select and implement a modern ERP.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Own the full monthly and annual close process
• Prepare GAAP-compliant financial statements for board and investor reporting
• Manage intercompany transactions and consolidation across US, UK, and Canadian entities
• Own revenue recognition for mixed hardware and software business

📋 Requirements

• 6–10 years of progressive accounting/finance experience
• 2+ years at a venture-backed startup
• Strong technical accounting skills including ASC 606
• CPA certification

• Experience with modern AI-native finance tools (e.g., Rillet, Ramp)
